Efter att ha läst Milk and Honey av Rupi Kaur blev jag ändå lite nyfiken på fler diktsamlingar så jag gav mig på denna. En samling som jag vet att många tycker om.
Inte heller denna lyckades övertyga mig om att poesi är något för mig. Precis som gällande Milk and Honey gav denna mig ingenting och berörde mig inte på något sätt. Jag har alltid tänkt att varje ord i en dikt symboliserar så mycket mer eftersom det är så komprimerat, och det är säkert tanken här men det går inte hela vägen fram till mig.
Även här förstår jag dock varför folk gillar Amanda Lovelace. Trots tuffa ämnen är det förmodligen lätt att ta till sig och inte så pretentiöst som man annars kan tänka att poesi är. Däremot har jag inga planer på att läsa mer poesi i nuläget.
